Participating in the Time Of Use pricing plan may save money — and help reduce peak demand on the electrical system.
This pricing plan provides customers an opportunity to save a little on their electricity bill if they can align their energy usage with lower cost time periods – both seasonally and daily. Without changing energy use, most customers’ annual electricity bills will go up on the Time Of Use plan and some will not change. If you sign up for the plan but don’t change your usage patterns, your electricity bill may go up.
If you can align your energy usage with lower cost periods, the Time Of Use plan may be your best option. To see an estimate of your bill under the Time Of Use plan, log in or register to use My Account.

By reducing your summer electric use and shifting your heaviest electricity use to off-peak hours, you could realize energy cost savings. If you choose to use less energy during high-demand times of the day and year, you’ll help reduce the demand on the system, pay less for your electricity and possibly reduce your overall power bill.
